Methodology : According to tribal ritual tribal artists carry small metal pot of water on the head and welcome ‘Perahor’ (Guest) with the beat of Lagra-Madol (Tribal Musical Instrument). Artist also welcome guest in the tribal dress of African. Initially in the year of 2018 June ‘Team Atang Daram’ was formed by taking some tribal artists of Chamubera near Jharkhand. Later about 563 Youths of MD Bazar, Sainthia, Mayureswar-1 & Mayureswar-2 block joined the team. Through this project today many Youths are self reliant. More days are spent more new artists joined team.

Problem Faced : During rehearsal we only face financial problem nothing else.

Field Learning : Till today, many talented artists remain in village because they have not proper platform to express their talent. They also wants to do some things for social development. Despite of poor family’s child they come forward without any charge.

Suggestion : You have to make culture as your weapon to fight against social illness by raising your voice. Beside education, many people will be benefitted if students of all ages are engaged with cultural development by doing class in song, dance and music.
Brief Description : Birbhum is the district red soil and baul, So it is very much natural that there is enormous propagation of Santal Parganas culture. Almost every tribal village has cultural group of song and dance performances . Dance of Sohrai Parab, Baha Parob, Dance on marriage of tribal community create spell-bounding atmosphere . Here Atang Daram is Santali Word whose meaning is if any new guest will come, they would be welcomed. Bhorai has the same reason behind giving the name of project. They are welcomed with the tribal dress Panchi-Parhan. Several groups of tribal song and dance are formed by taking culture-lover people of the tribal society.

Dong Dance Performance
They will promote social awareness in various village. Moreover they will perform songs and dance for low-fees on various govt. and non-govt. organization. They will also welcome coming guest. Artists under that special project of this organization perform programme in village, town. Besides village-town, they also perform in many
crowded city like Kolkata, Godda (Jharkhand) etc. Crowds of young artist is very much visible than old artists in this special project. Many cases Bhorai’s artists also performed in the programmes of Birbhum District Administration and District Police.
