Brief Description : “Siksha Sangi” is a special project which is taken in 2017 from the behalf of Bhorai. Member of the organization surveyed in various village and brought up the subject of project to the villagers. There is taken a decision from the behalf of Bhorai is that poor students of the backward area will be developed physically and mentally, more than educational development. Bags, books, exercise book, colour pencil umbrellas and other educational thing will be distributed among the students under this project. More over admission fee of school, uniform and tuition fee will be supplied from the behalf of Bhorai. Members will administrate the project under the leadership of Madhuri  Hembram,  member of organization. Suman Biswas, Deputy Magistrate of Mursidabad of that time and one of our Well-Wisher named that project “Siksha Sangi” . Beside poor students under that project many student who left school for many reason, returned again to school which is also noble Initiative of that special project “Siksha Sangi”in 2018.

 

Methodology : From a survey, we noticed that many students not concentrated on studies because of lack of guidance. Moreover they spoil their books, exercise book due to lack of care. So we invited the prestigious women to organize a conference by togethering them. Then we brought  up what we want to do for the students of village to them. Then we wanted to know their reaction. Many students were coming from them. One of the major problem is tution fee. We encourage the villagers that we will provide free coaching soon. Recently Free coaching, has been started in village in Muluk village near Bolpur, Bardanga, Panchami, Mahuldanga by taking the members of organization of that village Sub-Divisional Officer (S.D.O) Suri sadar, Rajib Mondal gave his lesson on Math and Bengali to the students of the coaching centre. Later bags, books and other educational things were being distributed among the students. Besides studies, learning Spoken English and Self-Development are being given.

Challenges Faced : The main problem of this project is financial problem. volunteers not got proper monthly salary and can not associate with own interest. For this reason many volunteers have misery in their mind. In future, if we get co-operation then our programme will going at right speed. Moreover, because of bad infrastructure, We classed them in open sky. In rainy season studies are often hampered.

 

Field Learning : Many families still sink in darkness still today. Light of education not arrives at those family. In future doctor, engineer would come from this family. That day we would say with pride that we could change the society.

Suggestion/ Feedback : It is a very good initiative. On later days Bhorai will work on bigger area. We will wish all of you for better future.
